London suffered particularly amid the second world war. It suffered severe damage from bombs amid this time & plenty of thousands of children in the city were evacuated out to the countryside to avoid the bombs. The worst bombing took place between 7 September 1940 & 10 May 1941.

As it’s the capital of england, London boasts the perfect museums in the country. One of the perfect is the Science Museum, which is in south kensington. The museum was founded in 1857 and boasts over 300,000 exhibits, including Puffing Billy and Stephenson’s Rocket.

Camden Town is well-known for its alternative stores & amazing market. it is a varied location, which sells everything from retro clothes to cds.

On the other hand, shoppers should head for knightsbridge or mayfair for the more high end shops. you will find some excellent designer names in this elite area.

Needless to say the nightlife in London is among the best in the world. there’s many clubs, live music venues, vip bars, relaxing public houses &Michelin starred art galleries to enjoy.

The Met Bar in the metropolitan hotel is one of the city’s most well-known bars. The bar is so vip that its members and hotel guests only after 6 ‘o’ clock. The bar is really popular with celebrities, which means that you can do some exciting star spotting there.
